Amy Blum | Scheduling Coordinator
Amy has been an Omni Dental team member for many years. She also has expertise in many areas of our practice making her a great resource for both our team and our patients. Her primary responsibilities include coordinating the appointment book for the entire team and answering calls and questions from our patients. At home, Amy enjoys spending her time with her husband and two boys.
Terri Lenihan, CDPMA, FAADOM, RDA | Practice Administrator
Terri has been with our practice for many years and has vast knowledge and experience in many areas of dentistry. She currently works with our doctors and patients during consultations to help answer any financial, insurance, and scheduling questions. She is also in charge of coordinating much of our ongoing continuing education and office training experiences. Terri is a Certified Dental Practice Management Administrator (CDPMA) and a Fellow in the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM). She is also a member of the Metro Omaha Dental Office Leaders, as well as the Council Bluffs Service League. Outside of the practice, Terri enjoys volunteering for a variety of organizations. She also loves to watch football with her friends and family, which includes her husband, two children, and a grandson.
Charlotte Meyerpeter | Office Manager
As our office manager, Charlotte's voice and her smiling face are quite familiar to our patients. She sets patient appointments, makes financial and insurance arrangements, and is an exceptional resource for patients wanting to fit their care into their financial lives. Charlotte was born and raised in Omaha and completed her undergraduate studies at Kearney State College. She is a Registered Dental Assistant with years of continuing education and experience under her belt. She lives in Crescent with her husband, Mike. and their son. Gerald. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafts, and riding Harleys.
Crystal Nuss | Business Team
Crystal brings many years of experience in dentistry to our business team. She helps our office run smoothly and efficiently so that our patients receive focused attention and excellent service. Originally from Colby, Kansas, Crystal appreciates the friendliness of the people in our Midwest community. Away from work, Crystal enjoys reading, playing cards and spending time with her husband and two grown daughters.
Denise Ring | Business Team
Denise is one of the first smiling faces our patients see as they arrive for their appointments. Her commitment to our dental team and to patient care is reflected in her compassionate, dedicated customer service. She plays a vital role in each patient's excellent experience with us. Denise is a native of Iowa and enjoys its small-town feel. She is active in community organizations and area non-profits, and is a part of the Pottawattamie County Team: Community Emergency Response Training (CERT). She enjoys various creative outlets such as gardening, quilting and scrapbook design as well as home improvement projects and interior decorating. She also enjoys time with her two adult children.
Marty Thorson | Financial Coordinator
Marty's years of experience in the dental office make her a valuable resource for our patients as they prepare to fit their dental care comfortably into their financial lives. As financial coordinator and part of the Omni business team, she is the last stop as patients complete their dental visits. She assists patients in reserving appointments and also helps explain dental insurance benefits, while also handling all dental insurance claims. Outside work, Marty enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as attending her book and card clubs.

Gerri Baxter | Registered Dental Hygienist
A Registered Dental Hygienist, patients appreciate Gerri's gentle touch as she provides them with professional cleanings and other treatments that help create their sparkling smiles. Gerri relies on years of experience, including time spent as a clinical assistant prior to becoming a hygienist, to educate patients about their dental care. Gerri graduated as part of a top class from Iowa Western Community College and now serves on the Dental Hygiene Advisory Board for the school. She is also a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Gerri was born and raised in Council Bluffs, where she currently lives with her husband, Randy, and their son, Kaden, and daughter, Karragan. She enjoys boating, snow skiing, traveling, and eating out.
Jamie Davis | Registered Dental Hygienist
Jamie has experience as a dental assistant in addition to her skill as a dental hygienist. She loves to take care of people by providing the best dental hygiene services possible in a relaxed, caring environment. A member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, Jamie has advanced training and certification to administer local anesthetics, nitrous oxide sedation, and hygiene medications and to perform laser dentistry. Additionally, Jamie spends many hours volunteering in the community with organizations such as the Iowa Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and the Meals of the Heartland. In her spare time, Jamie loves to work out, eat healthy, spend quality time with friends and family, travel the world to visit her sister's family, be active outdoors, and soak up the sun, while listening to audiobooks.

Amy, a Council Bluffs native, provides essential care for her patients. She regularly attends continuing education courses, which keep her up-to-date with the newest advancements in dental technology and techniques. Amy performs regular hygienic cleanings, periodontal treatments, and other services for patients, including educating them on home care products. Outside of the office, Amy enjoys spending time with her two children.
Alisha Lyons | Registered Dental Hygienist
Alisha enjoys interacting with many different personalities throughout the workday. Patients at both of our locations - Council Bluffs and Carter Lake - appreciate her gentle touch and emphasis on comfortable treatment. Alisha has experience as a dental assistant, in addition to her experience as a hygienist, making her a valuable resource for our patients. In her spare time, Alisha enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Nicole Pierson | Registered Dental Hygienist
As one of our dental hygienists, Nicole provides exceptional care for each patient. Whether she is performing a regular cleaning or an advanced treatment, Nicole works with her patients to help them maintain their smile for a lifetime. She is active in the community as a member of the Council Bluffs Service League. Away from the office, Nicole enjoys shopping, swimming, and traveling with friends and family.
Mick White | Registered Dental Hygienist
Mick's goal in serving patients is to help them maintain a healthy smile for life. By attending numerous continuing education courses, Mick ensures that his patients receive the most advanced treatment possible and the newest technology available. Mick serves as an Iowa Western dental hygiene advisory board member. At home, he enjoys drawing, as well as playing videogames. He also enjoys a variety of outdoor activities along with his three dogs.

Patricia Brown | Dental Assistant
Patricia's chairside manner, as well as her experience as a dental assistant, helps our patients to feel comfortable and well educated when it comes to their dental treatment. Patricia is quick with answers to question, and offers wonderful advice when it comes to aftercare and hygiene. Patricia is a veteran of the United States Navy, and is excited to be back in Iowa after seeing much of the world. She is a busy mother of three who enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time she still enjoys traveling as well as cooking, gardening and being involved in the Parent Teacher Association.
Kristin Armstrong | Expanded Functions Registered Dental Assistant
As a dental assistant, Kristin has multiple responsibilities. Her top priority is the care and comfort of our patients. Other duties include assisting our doctors at chair side with all procedures. Kristin has a vast knowledge of the procedures our doctors perform, and she is always available to answer any questions our patients have regarding their treatment. At home, Kristin enjoys running, cooking, reading, and going to concerts.

Jessica assists our doctors chair side during a wide variety of treatments. Her commitment to continuing education helps her stay on the cutting edge of new technology and techniques, and she is an excellent source of information and guidance for our patients. Jessica is a member of the Council Bluffs Service League. She is married with one daughter and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Cassie Freeman | Expanded Functions Registered Dental Assistant
Both a Certified Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Assistant with the state of Iowa, Cassie relies on her experience and years of continuing education to provide our patients with state-of-the-art care. Her varied duties include assisting the doctor with treatments, taking digital radiographs and diagnostic casts in preparation for procedures, maintaining supplies, and helping patients understand their treatment and aftercare. Cassie and her husband, Marc, are expecting their first child in October of 2011. In her spare time she enjoys camping, boating, fishing, and spending time with her friends and family. She currently holds the record for the "Biggest Fish" between herself and Dr. Hurley!
Jamie Hanshaw | Expanded Functions Registered Dental Assistant
As a dental assistant, Jamie's top priority is caring for our patients. In addition to assisting our doctors during treatments, Jamie also answers questions about treatments, aftercare, and hygiene for our patients and helps provide them a warm, comfortable environment. At home, Jamie enjoys sports, outdoor activities, camping, and fishing, as well as spending time with her daughters.
Britley Kierscht | Expanded Functions Registered Dental Assistant
As a dental assistant, Britley cares for patients by answering treatment questions and by creating a comfortable, welcoming environment. She assists our doctors with a variety of treatments and remains at the forefront of dental technology and techniques through continuing education. Britley enjoys spending time with her brother and three sisters and attending movies.
Corrina Knecht | Dental Assistant
As a dental assistant, Corrina is chair side with the dentist during treatment. She provides her patients with a comfortable and friendly environment, as well as giving them advice on home dental care. She also enjoys bringing new technology and techniques to her patients. Outside of the office, Corrina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as outdoor activities such as camping and fishing.
Emily Schuler | Expanded Functions Registered Dental Assistant
Emily, a Registered Dental Assistant, works closely with patients to provide them with comfortable, advanced treatment. Before working with the doctor during treatment, Emily takes any necessary digital photos, radiographs, and dental impressions for patients. Emily also prepares the operatory and maintains supplies for the office. She enjoys answering patient questions about treatment and aftercare as well. Emily was born and raised in Atlantic, but she currently resides in Council Bluffs. Outside of the office Emily enjoys shopping, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Sara Williams | Expanded Functions Registered Dental Assistant
Sara assists our doctors with treatments, while caring for each individual patient. She is dedicated to providing patients with a comfortable atmosphere and advises patients about their treatment and how to care for their new smile. Away from the office, Sara enjoys shopping, spending time with friends and family, and her two toy poodles.
